Parents of children or adults with special needs and others in high stress situations are exhausted and frazzled with the logistics and stress of getting through day to day.

Stress is exhausting, and for both children and adults with special needs the stress and anxiety of overcoming everyday challenges can be truly overwhelming. The Benson-Henry Institute at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard has spent years defining evidence-based strategies for resiliency. I trained at MGH to create a stress-reduction workshop, using strategies specifically designed to fit into hectic schedules. Adults can take a workshop or work 1:1  to learn techniques to share with their children and families. Components include:

·         The Relaxation Response/Mindfulness Meditation

·         Self Care/Wellness Routines

·         Techniques from Positive Psychology
